Through my painting process I aim to capture the variety of emotional layers that make up the human experience.
I reflect on concepts such as identity and femininity. I express their complex structure with narratives including symbolism and allegory, often depicting the female figure in front of a dreamlike background.
The sense of agency and autonomy reflected in the body poses challenge traditional notions of female representation, elevating their status from mere objects.
Through the female gaze, I explore the dreamscape as a haven where the spirit is free to roam manifesting its deepest desires, fears, and aspirations.
I research the creation of a visual language that bridges the past with the present, combining classical techniques and historical art references with contemporary anxieties, highlighting the vulnerability of existence and the questions that shape our lives in a constantly changing world.
